Fully Automatic Four-Sided V-Grooving Machine

Before the invention of the grooving machine, people were often troubled by excessively large bending radius, inaccurate bending dimensions, and the fact that some workpieces could not be completed by bending machines alone. The grooving machine solved these problems very well.

The GSDM horizontal high-speed grooving machine is a professional grooving device suitable for all metal sheets, such as stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and galvanized sheets. Grooving is an auxiliary process before bending the sheet metal. Special tools are used to create V-shaped grooves along the bending line, making the material easier to bend and achieving a minimal radius (R) at the outer bending angle. The sheet metal is then bent using a bending machine or manually to complete the workpiece and achieve the desired product appearance.
The depth, width, and angle of the V-groove can be controlled and guaranteed by the feed rate and the shape of the planer.

The **base (a) and crossbeam (c)** of the GSDM grooving machine both adopt a frame structure design. The worktable is made of low-alloy high-strength structural steel, which has excellent overall rigidity and is sturdy and durable. It is manufactured according to machine tool processing standards and is tempered in an electric furnace to eliminate welding stress and reduce equipment deformation. The surface is sandblasted to ensure excellent coating quality. The frame is machined in one clamping by an imported CNC three-dimensional machining center to ensure the parallelism and perpendicularity of each mounting surface.

The GSDM grooving machine uses a hydraulic clamping system to fix the workpiece during processing, and is equipped with a flexible clamping and unloading device. It features a high-precision guiding system, a position measurement system, and a hydraulic balancing function to ensure that the surface of the sheet metal is not damaged as much as possible. The pressure of the hydraulic clamping device is adjustable, and the clamping is reliable. The hydraulic system is equipped with an accumulator for compensation and adopts an intermittent motor operation design to effectively save energy and control oil temperature.

The GSDM grooving machine's **tool holder (b)** uses four tools for V-groove machining, resulting in more even distribution of cutting material and effectively reducing the risk of workpiece deformation. An optional micro-cooling system extends tool life and reduces production costs. The universal tool clamping surface accommodates various tool clamping requirements, and high-speed steel and alloy tools are interchangeable. The tool holder movement mechanism employs ground-grade ball screws and heavy-duty linear guides to ensure machining accuracy.

The crossbeam section employs two sets of ground helical gears and a high-precision helical rack and pinion guide rail for transmission, and also features frequency conversion speed regulation. The dual guide rail structure ensures stable and efficient crossbeam feeding.

    This effectively prevents the oil pump from running for a long time, which can cause the oil temperature or motor temperature to become too high, thus achieving the goal of energy saving and consumption reduction, and can also extend the life of oil pipes and seals.
